Collection of your Personal Information
Brandsec collects the information you give us either online or by email, post, facsimile, face to face or over the phone. In most cases, the personal information Brandsec will collect from you is the personal information required in order to provide services to you, and also for ongoing management and support of those services. This information may include your full name, mailing address, phone number, email address, ABN, facsimile number and other relevant additional details. We also collect your payment details such as your bank account details.
Via the website, information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by Brandsec. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by Brandsec for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Brandsec website.

Use of your Personal Information
Brandsec collects and uses your personal information to operate the Brandsec website and deliver the services you have requested. Brandsec also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Brandsec and its affiliates. Brandsec may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.
Brandsec keeps track of the websites and pages our customers visit within Brandsec, in order to determine what Brandsec services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within Brandsec to customers whose behaviour indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
Brandsec websites will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
(a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Brandsec or the site;
(b) protect and defend the rights or property of Brandsec; and

On 17 May 2018, the ICANN Board adopted a Temporary Specification modifying the WHOIS specification. It defines requirements for processing personal data which is subject to the GDPR. That personal data will be redacted from the WHOIS query, however, when requested by the relevant Registrar we may still need to provide reasonable access to that personal data to third parties on the basis of legitimate interests.
Use of Cookies

The WHOIS service allows Internet users to query a domain name to find out the identity and contact details of the registrant.
